Using the Living Archive
Use the "Search" feature on this page if you're looking for something specific.
Every user of our Living Archive has access to the My Stack feature, which operates in the same way the stacks in a library work—a space for visitors to store and maintain the Roadside materials they are most interested in viewing, either now or later.
Click “Add to Your Stack” on any material and revisit the materials simply by logging in with your email.
Something to Consider
We encourage every user to approach the Living Archive with their powers of curiosity and critical thinking, recognizing shortcomings and celebrating valuable discoveries.
As we continue to extend Roadside’s catalog of programming and our effort to blend the relationship between past and present, we ask users to keep in mind that although our society has progressed in terms of sensitivity and inclusion of other cultures, some materials from our history were created in an era that preceded this cultural shift, and thus may be sensitive for viewers.
We believe the Living Archive will be a tool for each of us to shape the world in which we want to live. As you explore, consider:
- Where could this have been more inclusive?
- What resources are missing here?
- What cultural traditions do I want to carry forward?
- What cultural traditions do I want to reshape or remake?
